Weekend Fun Baby!!!! February 24, 2009

On Saturday, Ariyana and her mommy went shopping for Richard for his birthday. We were gone for 4 hours and had a lot of fun. Her daddy stayed home to cut wood up for firewood. Ariyana only had one melt down while shopping and it happened in Kohls. She was getting fussy sitting in the buggy, so I let her out for a minute to walk around. When she got down, she took off running. I couldn’t get her to hold my hand or stay still so after like 3 minutes, I put her back in the buggy………..well she was not having that at all and just started crying. I finally picked her up and had to let her hold my credit card to get her to stop crying. Then we left the store and she was fine. Overall though, she was a perfect angel and we had a blast together.

On Sunday, we went to Jenn and Robb’s house to celebrate Richard’s birthday. Jennifer had food set up all nice and cute and we all had a really good time. Ariyana was a little fussy there but not too bad. She is into this new thing where she counts; 1, 2 real quietly and then yells 3 really loud, it is so funny. Although 3 sounds nothing like the word 3 when she does it, it is still hilarious. She did that a couple of times at Jenn’s house. She had a really good time playing with her family Sunday, I think she misses them sometimes.

Sunday Zach, Ariyana, and I went down to Babiesrus to buy some birthday presents and to look for shoes and clothes. We got down there and started looking at toys….there were so many to choose from, we had a hard time deciding. We finally decided on a little play house that you can get other stores and things and make a little town…we also bought the pet store to go with it. We did find a pair of shoes too and an outfit. Ariyana was great while we were shopping, she just sat in the buggy and stared at all the toys around her…no crying at all. We also looked at Halloween outfits but didn’t really find anything for her yet. After Babiesrus, we went to a couple of other stores to get some party favors and items we still needed. Then we made a quick stop at Kohl’s and bought Ariyana a couple of outfits for next summer that were on clearance.
